2Hosting

Our website is hosted by Hostinger. Personal information collected on this website (e.g. through the matching form) is stored on Hostinger's servers.

We have entered into a Data Processing Agreement with Hostinger to ensure your data is processed only according to our instructions.

3What We Collect and Why

When you use our matching form, we collect information to find suitable activity partners for you (APP 3 – Collection of solicited personal information).

Required: Nickname, email address, instagram handle, city, event date
Optional: Ages, genders, additional notes about the event and preferences.

Purpose: We collect this information solely to match you with other users looking for someone to attend the same event or activity. By submitting the form, you consent to this use of your information.

4How We Use and Disclose Your Information

Our system compares your details with those of other users to find a match (APP 6 – Use or disclosure of personal information).

What we share: When a match is found, we share only your name (or nickname), your Instagram handle and the event details with the matched person so you can get in touch.

What we do NOT share: Your email address is never passed on to your match or any other user. It is used solely to send you your match notification.

We do not sell, rent or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

5Email Delivery via Brevo

To reliably deliver match notifications, we use the email service provider Brevo (formerly Sendinblue).

Provider: Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany – an EU-based company.

Data processing agreement: We have entered into a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Brevo. As Brevo is an EU-based company with servers in Germany, your data remains within the EU and is not transferred to third countries.

6How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your form and matching data only for as long as necessary for the purpose of the match service (APP 11 – Security of personal information).

As a general rule, your data is deleted no later than 90 days after the event date you entered in the form.

7Analytics & Advertising (Google)

We use services provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Google Analytics: Analyses user behaviour (pages visited, time on site, approximate location). Your IP address is anonymised.
Google AdSense: Displays personalised advertising using cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings on our website.

Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We have entered into a Data Processing Agreement with Google.

8Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you (APP 12)
Request correction of inaccurate or outdated information (APP 13)
Request deletion of your data
Withdraw your consent at any time
